TASK FORCE RECOMP: 2009'S MODERN WARFARE 2 DEPLOYS NATIVE ON PC FROM XBOX 360
Modern Warfare 2 (2009) recompiled from Xbox 360 to native PC, campaign and multiplayer

PaulCombal's Modern Warfare 2, recompiled runs the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) natively on PC, with its executables recompiled ahead of time rather than emulated. It covers the campaign and multiplayer, with private matches and system link. A Steam build lets only Steam friends join, and a LAN build works on local networks. There is no public matchmaking, and the developer warns that the game's unchanged 2009 network code has known security bugs, so only play with people you trust. Version 0.4.1 shipped Oct 11. It arrives after Activision's DMCA strikes on vibe-coded CoD browser ports, and alongside the PC-side iw4L project.
You need: Your own Xbox 360 disc of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). No game files are included. Online play: only with people you trust (old netcode with known security bugs).
