dzakyraf's pes2017-recomp is an ahead-of-time recompilation of Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 for the Xbox 360 into native ARM64 code for Android. The game's PowerPC code is translated to C++ with XenonRecomp and built with the Android NDK, a host runtime stands in for the console's kernel, GPU (through Vulkan) and audio, and a Kotlin launcher app installs your game files and starts the match. The creator says it boots, renders and plays a full match on a Galaxy S20 FE (Snapdragon 865), with heat, not code, holding performance back, and lists what still needs work in the project's porting notes. It has on-screen buttons you can move or hide, gamepad support, High, Medium and Low presets, and save backups. Releases 0.1.0 and 0.1.1 landed on 24 October. It joins the growing list of Xbox 360 games recompiled for Android, such as Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Metal Gear Rising.
