PROJECT GOTHAM RACING 2 FOLLOWS PGR1 TO PC AS A NATIVE FAN PORT

Project Gotham Racing 2 (original Xbox) gets a native PC port by static recompilation, v1.0.2

Days after his Project Gotham Racing port, hk21x has released v1.0.2 of an unofficial native PC port of Project Gotham Racing 2 for the original Xbox. The game's own x86 code is statically recompiled into a Windows program with the Xbox XBE Recomp tool, and the Xbox graphics, sound and system libraries are rebuilt for Direct3D 12 or 11, XAudio2 and SDL, with extended graphics options. It is not an emulator. Both the European (PAL) and North American (NTSC) releases are supported. A launcher builds the game on your PC from your own disc, and v1.0.2 gets the in-race radio working.

You need: Your own PAL or NTSC original Xbox copy of Project Gotham Racing 2 (an .iso of your disc or a folder of its files) and Windows 10/11 64-bit. No game files are included.

How to play Project Gotham Racing 2 on PC

1. Download PGR2Launcher.exe from the release page.
2. Point it at your own disc image or folder and let it build the game.
3. Press Play. Existing installs just press Update in the launcher.
