The Two Towers Recompiled is a native PC port of EA's 2002 Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, built by statically recompiling the US Xbox release. Version 1.9.6 (22 October) adds 33 languages for every in-game text. The port runs on Windows, Linux and, experimentally, macOS, with 1x to 12x internal resolution, 4:3 to 32:9 widescreen with the HUD at the screen edges, Direct3D 11, Vulkan or OpenGL, and frame rates from 30 fps up to unlocked (experimental). The creator says the game is fully playable but still a work in progress. The Two Towers was never re-released, so this is the only modern way to play it besides the original disc.
