POKÉMON COLOSSEUM GOES NATIVE ON PC AS A ONE-CLICK LAUNCHER BUILDS IT FROM YOUR OWN DISC
Pokémon Colosseum: native PC port arrives with a one-button launcher, v0.2.0 out
Pokémon Colosseum, the 2003 GameCube RPG, now has a native port for Windows, macOS and Linux, and Chase Myers's Colosseum Launcher makes it a guided job. You point it at your own disc image, it downloads the tools it needs and compiles the game on your computer, then gives you one Play button. The port is built from the pkmn-colosseum decompilation, with its renderer taken from the same creator's Super Mario Sunshine PC port. Settings cover 30 or 60 fps, sharpness up to 4x, Vulkan or OpenGL (Metal on Apple Silicon), a Steam Deck preset and 4x fast-forward by holding L + R. v0.2.0 landed today with a Graphics switch for HD models, two days after the launcher went up. It also imports Dolphin saves and backs yours up before and after play. Upscaled HD textures are a separate 2 GB download, on by default and switchable in Graphics. The launcher itself holds no game or disc image.
You need: An image made from your own North American Pokémon Colosseum disc (GC6E01, revision 0), as a plain .iso or .gcm file. A 64-bit computer and an internet connection for setup, plus about 4 GB free during setup if you keep the HD textures.

- Download the launcher for your system from the creator's GitHub releases page.
- Choose your own disc image; the launcher fetches its tools and builds the game on your computer.
- Press Play, and set frame rate, sharpness and HD textures in Graphics and Display.
