Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (Wii) recompiled for Windows and Steam Deck
solleo95's port recompiles the Wii rail shooter into a native Windows and Linux/Steam Deck game. The feature list: fast loading, unlocked FPS, native ultrawide, mouse, gamepad, light gun and Wii Remote aiming, DLSS / FSR 3.1 with frame generation, ray-traced shadows, HDR, mods and online co-op. It's an early build (0.1.1, 3 November) under very active development. No game files are included.
You need: Your own NTSC-U Wii disc image (game ID RBUE08) as ISO, WBFS, CISO, WDF or WIA (convert RVZ in Dolphin first). PAL and Japanese versions won't work. About 4 GB free. No game files included.
How to play Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles on PC
- Download the Windows or Linux zip from Releases.
- Let the launcher unpack your own RBUE08 disc image.
- Launch and aim with mouse, pad, light gun or Wii Remote.
