thatcalikid760's SCDA V1 Recomp turns the Xbox 360 version of Splinter Cell: Double Agent, the one many fans call the better of the game's two versions, into a real Windows x64 program with no emulator. A tool translates the console's PowerPC code to C++ ahead of time, and a small 'fake console' layer sends system calls to Windows, graphics to Direct3D 11 (with the game's shaders converted on the fly) and XMA sound through FFmpeg and XAudio2. The README says every mission loads, plays and saves. November's update fixed JBA headquarters geometry, the Iceland shack, hotel windows and mirrors, reflections, water and shadows, and added a light distance setting that shows more far-off lights than the console. There is no ready-made installer yet, so for now you build it yourself. This is a separate project from TGP482's recomp of the original Xbox version, which we covered in October.
