PS1 CULT CLASSIC TOMBA! GETS A NATIVE PC PORT WITH WIDESCREEN
Tomba! PS1 recomp adds European Tombi! builds and widescreen in v0.22.0

mstan's TombaRecomp statically recompiles the 1998 PlayStation platformer Tomba! (USA) and its European release Tombi! into native Windows programs, using mstan's own PSXRecomp framework. v0.22.0-alpha (22 October) ships three separate builds, for the US disc and two European Rev 1 discs, with optional adaptive widescreen, geometry optimisation and seamless loading. A follow-up preview build arrived on 24 October. mstan, also behind the Mega Man X and Super Mario World recomps, calls these in-development previews with rough edges. No game data is included.
You need: Your own Tomba! (USA, SCUS-94236) or Tombi! (Europe, SCES-01330/01331 Rev 1) disc image. No game data is included. Alpha: expect rough edges.
How to play Tomba! on PC
- Download the Windows zip that matches your disc from the Releases page.
- Extract it and run the recomp.
- Point it at your own disc image, then enable Widescreen in Mods if you want it.
