Spitzdano's Aidyn ReChronicled rebuilds Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage (N64, NTSC-U 1.0) as a native Linux and Windows game through static recompilation with N64Recomp, running on N64ModernRuntime and the RT64 renderer. It draws at 1080 lines or more with anti-aliasing, supports 16:9, 21:9 and wider with the HUD at the screen edges, runs the game at 60 frames a second (the N64 managed 15 to 20), and repaints 2,113 of the game's 2,115 world textures plus every portrait and item icon. Put your ROMs in one folder and it also plays the community Aidyn Patch, Aidyn Plus and Action Edition versions, each with its own saves. v0.9.2 landed today. The project shares art and fixes with MDoulos, author of the Action Edition mod.

How to play Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage on PC

Download v0.9.2 for Windows (unpack and play) or Linux (installer adds it to the app menu and Steam).
Put your own 1.0 ROM, plus any community version ROMs you have, in the download's ROMs folder.
Start the game; press Y on the title screen to choose a version.
