ARMORED CORE 4 GOES NATIVE ON WINDOWS FROM THE PS3: HIGH FPS AND FULL MOUSE AIM
AC4-Port v0.6.0: Armored Core 4 (PS3) as a native Windows program
SulphurS16's AC4-Port turns the PS3 Armored Core 4 (USA, BLUS30027) into a native 64-bit Windows program, built on your PC from your own copy. Per the README, a recompiler turns about 3.6 million PowerPC instructions into C++ (some 54,000 functions, 99.3% of code covered); SPU programs are translated ahead of time and RSX graphics become Direct3D 11. It adds your screen's resolution, 50-200% render scale, 30 to uncapped frame rates at the same game speed, raw-input mouse aim and an in-game PC SETTINGS menu. v0.6.0 on Oct 29 fixes mouse look in the SIMULATOR, a heavy frame drop in ELIMINATION (Hard), movie playback on 2-core PCs and lost key taps. It is part of the same maker's Project Glintburn, after the Armored Core: For Answer port already on the wire.
You need: Your own PS3 copy of Armored Core 4 (USA, BLUS30027). The port contains no game data, code or keys and decrypts nothing. Windows x64.
