droogie's bbhost (v0.2.24, 2 November) takes a different route to Bloodborne on PC from the ports already on the wire. Because the PS4 has an x86-64 CPU, bbhost runs the game's own 1.09 executable unmodified on the PC's CPU and answers its calls into the PS4's system libraries with PC versions: all 660 functions the game imports, from files and saves to input, audio and network calls. GPU work, GCN shaders and draw calls are recompiled for Vulkan. The goal is a definitive PC version: any resolution and aspect ratio, 60 fps and beyond, keyboard and mouse, mods and online play. bbhost contains no game code or data. You need your own dump with the 1.09 update and its decrypted executable. It has more than 740 GitHub stars.
