It translates the Xbox 360 code to C++ ahead of time with XenonRecomp, runs on a small reimplementation of the console's kernel, and draws with Xenia's Direct3D 12 GPU emulation. At v0.2.1 (Oct 15) the README says all five campaign acts load and play, as do Horde, Versus with bots and Beast offline, with System Link, LAN, internet play through a friend's code, and dedicated servers. Keyboard, mouse and controller are in, with a launcher and a mod system. The repo's unreleased changelog adds mods in multiplayer, and the README describes converting Gears of War 1 and 2 into the same engine from your own discs. Added as a library pick.
