MARIO PARTY 2 (N64) GETS A NATIVE PC PORT: ALL SIX BOARDS AND THE MINIGAMES PLAY
Mario Party 2: Recompiled: the N64 party game runs natively on PC and in a browser, v0.2.5

n64hub's Mario Party 2: Recompiled is a native PC port of the N64 game (USA), made by static recompilation with N64Recomp, N64ModernRuntime and the RT64 renderer, using symbols from the mariopartyrd/marioparty2 decompilation. It is not an emulator. The README says the menus, all six boards and the minigames play, on the desktop and in a browser, with boards interpolated to your display's refresh rate and drawn widescreen. Windows and Linux builds are up, with v0.2.5 landing on 1 November after three releases in a day. It shares its engine work with n64hub's Mario Party 3: Recompiled, already on the wire. The README says almost all the code was written by AI agents (Claude), directed and play-tested by a person. No ROM or game data is included.
You need: Your own Mario Party 2 (USA) N64 ROM as a big-endian .z64 (32 MiB, SHA-1 in the README). Windows or Linux x64. No ROM or game files are included.
