San Francisco Rush 2049: Recompiled: the N64 arcade racer runs natively on Windows and in a browser, v0.1.44
n64hub's San Francisco Rush 2049: Recompiled is a native PC port of the N64 version, made by static recompilation (N64Recomp, N64ModernRuntime, RT64), not emulation. The README calls it playable on Windows: menus, Single Race, Circuit, Ghost Race, Stunt and Battle run at full speed, all six race tracks finish, two- and four-player split screen renders and Controller Pak saves stick. A Linux build boots but hasn't been played on a real GPU or Steam Deck yet. It also builds as a web page you run with your own ROM, which stays in the browser and is never uploaded. v0.1.44 landed on 1 November, the latest of several releases that day. Like the team's Mario Party recomps, the README says almost all the code was written by AI agents (Claude), directed and play-tested by a person. No ROM or game data is included.
You need: Your own San Francisco Rush 2049 N64 ROM. Windows x64 (Linux build is early), or Chrome/Edge for the browser version. No ROM or game files are included.
