METAL GEAR SOLID GOES NATIVE ON PC: RE:INTEGRAL 0.3.1 ADDS A GODOT RENDERER AND MOD TOOLS
Metal Gear Solid Re:Integral: the PS1 classic as a native Windows source port

Drommedhar has released version 0.3.1 of RE:INTEGRAL, an unofficial native source port of the PlayStation's Metal Gear Solid: Integral. It is built from FoxdieTeam's recovered C code and the PsyZ platform library: a native runtime handles gameplay, collision, animation, audio, saves and timing, while Godot handles the picture and visual modding. This release brings the Godot renderer and a modding SDK together with a launcher, and keeps the older Legacy 0.2 renderer. The project says appearance, playability and performance across the whole campaign are still being checked, so treat it as a work in progress. Windows is the only target for now; Linux is planned.
You need: Your own Japanese Metal Gear Solid: Integral discs, Disc 1 (SLPM-86247) and Disc 2 (SLPM-86248), as single-track BIN/CUE images. Other regional releases and plain ISO files won't work. No game assets are included.
