MattyKen619 has ported Pikmin to the PlayStation 3 as native homebrew, built on projectPiki's decompilation of the 2001 GameCube game. The game code is almost untouched: the graphics are redrawn on the PS3's RSX, the sound processor runs on an SPU, and the disc, memory card and controller are rebuilt on PS3 hardware. It runs at a steady 30 frames a second like the original, with full sound, and the creator says the whole game has been played through on a real console (tested on Evilnat 4.93 with Cobra). The game reads its files straight out of your own disc image, and nothing from the disc is in the repo or package.
