mchughalex's Skate 3 Recomp is an unofficial native recompilation of the Xbox 360 version of Skate 3 for Windows, Linux and macOS. As of v2.0.0 it runs on a native renderer built on Direct3D 12 and Vulkan instead of emulating the Xbox 360 GPU, which the README says more than doubles the frame rate at roughly a quarter of the GPU power. It also warns that the renderer is early and that the game has not been tested all the way through. Windows is the most tested version, and the macOS ARM build is experimental. The latest release is v2.0.2 from July 24; Trooper's new fan launcher, also on the wire, adds a mod loader and benchmarks on top.
