SUPER MARIO WORLD NATIVE PC RECOMP ADDS MARIO AND LUIGI PLAYING TOGETHER
Super Mario World recompiled for native PC adds Mario and Luigi co-op

mstan's SuperMarioWorldRecomp statically translates Super Mario World's SNES CPU code into native C with the snesrecomp framework, while the SNES graphics and sound chips run through a LakeSnes-derived hardware layer. v0.15.0 (Oct 21) added an optional experimental simultaneous co-op mod: turn it on in the launcher's Mods page, pick 2 Player, and Mario and Luigi play the original campaign at the same time with their own controls, power-ups and reserve items, adaptive widescreen included. v0.15.1 (Oct 23) cuts repeated VRAM copying for more CPU headroom in widescreen. The dev calls the base game believed fully playable but still a preview, and co-op is a prototype with known issues. It's from the same dev and framework as the Super Metroid, Mega Man X and Zelda: A Link to the Past recomps on our wire.
You need: Your own Super Mario World (USA) ROM dumped from your own cartridge. No ROM is included. Preview build: expect rough edges.
