SSX 3 GOES NATIVE: EA'S PS2 SNOWBOARDING CLASSIC RECOMPILED TO RUST
SSX 3 (PS2) statically recompiled to native Rust, playable from source

andersfischernielsen's ssx3-decomp is a native Rust static recompilation of SSX 3 (USA, SLUS_207.72) for PlayStation 2. Every instruction of the game's Emotion Engine code, VU microcode and IOP drivers is translated to Rust ahead of time and runs on a native PS2 platform layer, with a wgpu renderer that draws from the game's own draw lists. As of the Oct 17 status, it boots, plays movies, menus, races, music and sound, saves to a memory card file, and supports any resolution, widescreen and ultrawide, with frame interpolation on high-refresh screens. There's no prebuilt release yet: you build it from source.
You need: Your own copy of SSX 3 (USA, PS2), dumped from your own disc, and a Rust toolchain to build. No game files are included.

- Clone the repo and follow the README's build steps with Rust.
