FlyinRabit205's STH Recompiled is an unofficial native PC port of Shadow the Hedgehog, built by statically recompiling the USA Xbox version's x86 code to C++ with the Xbox XBE Recomp SDK. It isn't an emulator. It runs at 60 fps, with an option for 60 fps in-engine cutscenes and a way to skip them, at any resolution, in borderless, fullscreen or windowed mode, with HD font sheets, an in-game settings menu, and Xbox, PlayStation and Switch controllers with rumble. It can also use the fan-made Shadow the Hedgehog HD texture pack, which isn't included. The repo opened on 1 November, and v1.2 (5 November) brings a Goal Ring fix and custom keyboard controls. The first start builds the game code from your own disc, which takes a few minutes, once. The project says AI was used in making the port.

How to play Shadow the Hedgehog on PC

Download the Windows or Linux zip from Releases and extract it.
Windows: run Setup.exe and choose your .iso. Linux or Steam Deck: run ./install.sh with your .iso, then play through Proton or Wine 9+.
