yanm1103's War of the Monsters Recompiled is a native Windows port of the 2003 PS2 giant-monster brawler. The game's code is translated to C++ with PS2Recomp, the same tool behind other PS2 recomps on the wire, and graphics, sound, movies and input run natively, so it is not an emulator. It draws at any resolution and frame rate. v0.1.0 landed on 29 October and v0.1.1 followed a day later, adding WotM_ModKit.exe: it reads your own ISO, extracts textures and sounds, and builds skins and custom monsters. The download ships two custom monsters, Goliath Prime and Cerebulon, which the creator says are just for fun and may not jump or do everything. The repo is still being pushed daily. The package holds no game data.
