KevinBonnoron's matching decompilation of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 now counts 38,301 of 48,739 functions (78.58%), or 45.90% of the code by bytes. It targets version 1.0.0 of the Switch game, because that build still ships a symbol table that keeps about 51,000 original C++ function names; later updates are stripped. The aim is C++ that compiles to exactly the same machine code as the game, function by function. It is a source project, not a port, so it doesn't run the game on PC. The repo says it carries no game executables, extracted assets, console keys or proprietary SDK files.
