PORT DEMAND · OCTOBER 2026

The 10 classics PC players want most.

We ranked every game on our wire by how many readers came looking for it in the last 14 days. One publisher's back catalogue took 40% of all the demand: Sony's.

Bar chart: the 10 classics PC players want most, God of War III first with 290 reader views
Reader views of gamerbrowser.com story pages, 10 to 24 October 2026

The big picture

Six Sony first-party games drew 550 of the 1,390 story views in the fortnight: God of War III, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian, Bloodborne, inFAMOUS Second Son and the Uncharted trilogy. None of them has an official PC release. EA's mid-2000s catalogue came second, at 15% of demand.

The fan developers agree with the readers. The God of War III port has 3,916 stars on GitHub and the Bloodborne port has 3,419. They're two of the most-watched projects on the whole wire.

About 60% of these readers came from search engines, typing a game's name plus "PC". This isn't idle browsing: it's people looking for a way to play.

How we measured: reader views of each game's story page on gamerbrowser.com from 10 to 24 October 2026 (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which rounds to the nearest 10 at our size), plus GitHub stars on each fan project. We left out fan ports of games that are already sold on PC. We can only count games with a fan project we've covered, so a game with huge demand and no fan port won't show up yet. Small numbers move a lot, so treat ranks 3 to 10 as close. New chart every month.
