Is there a PC port of

Yes. BLACK for Apple Silicon: an unofficial native Mac port of the Original Xbox shooter by secretpray. It's playable now, and it runs natively on PC rather than through an emulator.

Is the BLACK PC port an emulator?

No. It's a native build of the game's code for PC (a decompilation, static recompilation or native port), so it runs like a PC game.

BLACK for Apple Silicon: an unofficial native Mac port of the Original Xbox shooter

secretpray's Black is an unofficial native Apple Silicon port of BLACK, Criterion's Original Xbox shooter, and it is moving fast: 0.4.1 and 0.5.0 both landed on Nov 3. Version 0.5.0 adds a unified Controls menu, saved device selection, controller button rebinding and drawn Xbox, PlayStation and keyboard prompts. The README calls it an experimental release: combat, menus and profile saving have been tested on the developer's Mac, but a complete playthrough, audio quality and physical input paths are not yet qualified. It joins other BLACK ports on the wire, including TGP482's Black-XBERecomp.
