almost-drowned-rat's THPS 2X Recompiled translates the original Xbox code of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X (the Xbox-only remake of THPS 1 and 2) to C ahead of time and compiles it for PC, with a Vulkan 1.3 renderer and SDL3 for window, input and audio; there is no CPU emulation. Per the README it adds higher resolutions, widescreen, 120 fps with game logic on its own clock (the game never speeds up), custom soundtracks with eight playback modes, RetroArch shader support, per-player button remapping and new entries in the game's own Options menu. v0.9.3 arrived Oct 29, a day after v0.9.2. The author discloses AI assistance (Claude Code). The repo contains no game data, game code or keys.
