BlackLabelHQ has released v1.0 (and a v1.0.1 fix a few hours later, 1 November) of MediEvil Recomp, a static recompilation of the original 1998 PlayStation MediEvil (USA) that runs as a native program on Windows, macOS and Linux, including ARM64 builds. The team calls it its first 'final' version: v1.0 adds right-stick camera control, better analog handling, smoother interpolation, widescreen fade fixes, libretro shader presets and an in-game Mod Hub for mods, asset packs and shaders. The README says it is still rough in places, so expect bugs. It is a different project from the PS4-remake MediEvil port already on the wire. No game files are included: you add your own disc.
