Vagrant Story Native, by JEschete, is a Windows x64 native source port of Square's Vagrant Story (PS1, 2000) written in modern C++: it does not emulate the PlayStation, and the game's logic lives in the project's own C++ systems. It builds on ser-pounce's rood-reverse decompilation and on noprompt's rood-reverse work and rood-boi native port, which is already on the wire, and credits their contributors. The project has been public since July, but its first Windows builds went up this week, with 0.0.10 on 31 October and 0.0.11 on 1 November; the docs track what is still being ported. No game data is included: you supply your own disc.

How to play Vagrant Story on PC

Download the latest win-x64 zip from the creator's GitHub releases page (or build it with build-native.cmd).
