Yevhen Dubrovskiy's Gran Turismo 2 PC is a native C++ port of the PS1 classic, with Arcade and Simulation modes, for Windows, macOS, Steam Deck, PC VR through OpenXR and standalone Quest, plus a WebAssembly build that runs in a browser once you select your own disc image. v0.9.0 (Oct 27) adds an optional importer that turns your own Gran Turismo 4 disc into 722 extra cars and 388 model replacements, so GT2 and GT4 cars race together, and it restores 66 original GT4 cockpits for the in-car view. Rendering goes from 720p up to 4K, DualSense adaptive triggers work natively, and VR offers three steering modes. It's a rival to CurtisSlone's GT2 PC Port Mod Kit, already on our wire.

How to play Gran Turismo 2 on PC

Download GT2-0.9.0.zip from the Releases page.
Run INSTALL-PC.bat (or the PCVR, Quest, macOS or Steam Deck installer) and point it at your own GT2 disc images.
Start PLAY.bat in the installed folder; optionally import your own GT4 disc for the extra cars.
