RED DEAD REVOLVER GETS A SECOND NATIVE PC PORT FROM THE ORIGINAL XBOX GAME

RDR-XBERecomp: a second Red Dead Revolver PC port, recompiled from the original Xbox game, V1 out

Red Dead Revolver now has two native PC ports. Hours after dennisabalo18's port reached v1.4, TGP482 released V1 of RDR-XBERecomp, another static recompilation of the 2004 Xbox western. It adds a field-of-view slider from 45 to 140 degrees, an FPS counter and a texture dumper that saves every texture the game uses as PNG or DDS, which opens the door to HD texture packs. Like the rival port, it ships no game assets: you supply the files from your own copy.

How to play Red Dead Revolver on PC

1. Download V1 from the creator's GitHub releases page and extract it.
2. Add the required game files from your own copy, as the README explains.
3. Launch the game and set FOV and other options.
