Smash 4 PC is an unofficial native Windows port of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U by josiahg2502-glitch, the creator of the Brawl Recompiled port of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The game's PowerPC code is translated to C++ ahead of time and runs as native x86-64 code on a rebuilt version of the Wii U's system libraries, with its graphics translated to Vulkan. It is not an emulator. The first release, v0.1.0, landed on 25 October. The creator lists all fighters and stages from the game's update v304, DLC from your own dump, 8-Player Smash with extra controllers, rendering up to 4K and 5K, 60, 120 or uncapped frame rates (frames above 60 are interpolated; the game itself runs at 60), XInput, PlayStation and Switch Pro pads, Cemu-style content mods, and online play through the fan-run Pretendo Network. Shaders compile the first time each one appears, so expect some stutter early on.
