Petexy's Tekken Tag 2 Ultimate Edition is an unofficial native Linux port of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition. The game's PowerPC code is statically recompiled to C++ and runs as native x86-64 code on a reimplementation of the Wii U's system libraries, with the GPU's commands and shaders translated to Vulkan as it runs. There is no CPU emulation. The creator says the intro, menus, character select, arcade and versus all play with sound and saves, and arcade mode has been played through by hand. The port shows 120 fps on 100 Hz and faster screens by blending an extra frame between each two the game draws, while the game's logic and hitboxes stay at 60 Hz, and it renders at up to 4x the original 720p. v0.3.1 landed on 26 October with a launcher as an AppImage. It is a separate project from shihabal3amri's PS3-based Tekken Tag Tournament 2 PC port.
