Veemyu's strahlender-xnu turns your own copy of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl into a native app for iPhone, iPad, Apple Silicon Macs, Linux and Windows. The game's ARM64 code is translated ahead of time, a small runtime replaces the Switch's system and graphics API, and graphics go through Metal on Apple devices and Vulkan elsewhere, so it isn't an emulator. It adds file and code mods and the Switch's own on-screen keyboard. A guided installer takes you through your keys, game files and the build; installer 0.1.6 landed on 5 November. iPhone and iPad apps are built on a Mac with Xcode and signed with your own Apple ID, and the iPhone needs an A13 chip or newer. The project's changelog shows it's still chasing crashes on iOS, so expect rough edges. It reuses parts of LASRecomp, the Link's Awakening recomp. The repo holds no game data, keys, saves or generated code, and a built app is for your own devices only.
