YW4 Recomp: Yo-kai Watch 4++ being recompiled into a native Windows game

ILFforever's YW4 Recomp is a fan static recompilation of Yo-kai Watch 4++ for Switch: the ARM64 code is translated to C and compiled into a native Windows program, with NVN graphics running on Vulkan. It isn't playable start to finish yet. So far it runs from boot through the start of a new game, including the title menu, name entry, opening cutscenes and the first town, and from late-game saves it reaches night-time towns, the bamboo forest, the Yo-kai World and battles. Parts of the game's renderer are already rewritten, which brings up to 4K, 21:9 and 32:9 ultrawide, soft shadows, TAA and DLSS or FSR upscaling, with 30, 60, 120 or 144 fps or no limit. The README says Claude, through Claude Code, wrote most of the code, while a person decides the work and plays every build. There's no ready-made download of the game: you build it from your own files. Nothing from the game is in the repo.
