ZELDA: THE WIND WAKER GOES NATIVE ON SWITCH WITH SWITCHWAKER 1.0, NO EMULATOR
SwitchWaker: The Wind Waker (GameCube) runs natively on a modded Switch, v1.0.1

centollOS's SwitchWaker is an unofficial native port of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GameCube) to the Nintendo Switch (homebrew, custom firmware), with Mac and Linux builds from source. It is not an emulator: the game is compiled from the community decompilation (zeldaret/tww, with functions completed by snrubrm's AI-assisted fork) and drawn with encounter's Aurora, the GameCube SDK rebuilt over WebGPU, the same base as the Dusklight Twilight Princess port. Version 1.0.0 landed on 25 October and the 1.0.1 hotfix on 26 October fixes a crash when freezing a Mothula with an Ice Arrow. It supports the USA (GZLE01) and European (GZLP01) revision 0 discs, adds quality-of-life options drawn from BetterWW and the Wind Waker randomizer, and can run at 60 fps docked, with drops to 30 in heavy scenes. The disc's videos don't play yet. The creators say most of the port's own code was written with Claude Code and reviewed by hand. It is a separate project from SwitchWakerHD, the Wind Waker HD recompilation for Switch.
You need: A Nintendo Switch running custom firmware (homebrew), and your own Wind Waker GameCube disc, USA GZLE01 or Europe GZLP01 revision 0, as an uncompressed .iso. No game files are included.
