FROMSOFTWARE'S FIRST KING'S FIELD GETS A NATIVE PC PORT, PLAYABLE START TO FINISH
Verdite2 v0.5.2: King's Field (PS1) as a native PC port with widescreen, 60 fps and mouse look

Voicedrew11's Verdite2 is a PC port of the US PlayStation release of King's Field, FromSoftware's first-person dungeon RPG, built on the RecompOne PS1 static-recompilation project. The creator says the game is playable from start to finish. Additions include 16:9, 16:10 and 21:9 widescreen, perspective-correct textures with no vertex wobble, a Z-buffer, 24-bit colour, 60+ fps at a consistent game speed, per-pixel lighting, reflections, smooth fog, keyboard and mouse with modern twin-stick FPS controls, and mod support, with a mod collection by Acranon. Version 0.5.2 is the latest release.
You need: Your own dump of the North American PlayStation release of King's Field (SLUS-00158) as .cue/.bin or .chd. The project ships no game data.
