LANCommander's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for Windows and Linux is an unofficial native port of the 1999 PlayStation game (USA, SLUS_008.60), built from the team's own byte-matching decompilation of its code. The creators say all nine classic levels are fully playable in career mode, with an OpenGL renderer, keyboard and gamepad controls, widescreen, high resolutions and saves as plain files. It can also use the assets from the Dreamcast version. Releases came fast: v1.2.0 on 19 October, v1.3.0 on 22 October and v1.4.0 on 24 October. The one known gap is the PS1's exact reverb, which the port only approximates. The code is MIT-licensed and contains no code or assets from the original game.

How to play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on PC

Download the Windows or Linux build of v1.4.0 from the Releases page and unzip it.
Put your own disc image next to thps.exe, named thps1.bin.
Start it: the first run copies what it needs from your disc into a Data folder (about 630 MB), then the disc isn't needed.
