gothamor's gta-vcs-recomp is an unofficial native port of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, made by statically recompiling the USA PS2 executable (SLUS-21590) into C++. The same source builds for Windows (Direct3D 11) and Linux (Vulkan), so it is not an emulator. The repo ships no game code or data: the first public build, v0.0.1 (30 Oct), is a launcher that finds your own .iso, checks it is the USA release, installs Microsoft's free C++ build tools if needed and compiles the game on your PC. The creator marks it as in development, with a progress page listing what works. It joins a fast-growing wave of PS2Recomp-era ports on the wire, alongside God of War II and Zone of the Enders.
