Yz's ZOE-Recompiled is a native Windows port of Hideo Kojima's PS2 mech action game Zone of the Enders (USA, SLUS_201.48). The game's MIPS code is statically recompiled to C++ with PS2Recomp and runs on a PC runtime with an OpenGL renderer, compiled vector-unit programs and IOP and sound emulation. Release 1.0 (30 Oct) runs at a steady 60fps at up to three times the PS2's resolution, with widescreen, progressive output, save states, remappable controls, DualShock 2 pressure buttons, rumble and two-controller Versus mode. The creator says the whole game is playable from intro to the final area; the Esc menu still needs the keyboard. No disc image, textures, music or movies ship: it reads your own .iso.
