1997 RACER MOTO RACER GOES NATIVE ON MAC, PC AND STEAM DECK IN WIDESCREEN AT UP TO 4K
Moto Racer Recomp: the 1997 PC racer recompiled for modern Macs, PCs and Steam Deck

Moto Racer Recomp by segovia-no brings Delphine Software's 1997 racer to modern Macs, Windows and Linux PCs and the Steam Deck, in widescreen at up to 4K with gamepad support. It's a static recompilation: the original Windows program from your GOG copy is translated to C and compiled on your own computer, linked to a small runtime that stands in for the old Windows, DirectDraw, Direct3D, DirectSound and CD audio parts the game needs. The download brings its own Python, C compiler and installer unpacker, so nothing else is installed, and the first start takes a minute or two. Version 0.1.1 landed on 5 November. The repository and downloads contain no game code or assets.
You need: The GOG offline installer of Moto Racer (setup_moto_racer_2.1.0.11.exe) and about 1.5 GB free. macOS 12+ on Apple Silicon, Windows 10/11 64-bit, or x86-64 Linux or Steam Deck. The programs aren't signed, so your system may warn the first time.
