Project Oogie: a second native PC port of The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge, v0.2.2 out

Pallypots' Project Oogie runs the 2005 Xbox version of The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge natively on Windows by static recompilation: all 10,534 of the game's functions are translated to C with XboxRecomp, and the Xbox kernel, NV2A graphics, sound chip and controller ports are reimplemented with Direct3D 11, XAudio2, XInput and SDL2. Per the README it adds true widescreen that shows more of the world, higher resolutions, accessibility options and an F1 settings menu, and automated checks start all 24 chapters and play each for three minutes at 60 fps without crashing; the creator has played it by hand into Chapter 7. From v0.2 it also runs on Steam Deck and Linux through Proton. v0.2.2 landed on Oct 30, just in time for Halloween. It is a rival to josiahg2502's Oogie's Revenge Recompiled, already on the wire, which ports the same game.

Download ProjectOogie-v0.2.2.zip from Releases and unzip it anywhere.
Run Project Oogie.exe and pick your own disc image; it checks the version and copies the game files once (about 3.5 GB).
Press F1 for the settings menu.
