TimeSplitters Recomp v1.0: the original PS2 TimeSplitters runs natively on Windows, Linux and the original Xbox

GTTeancum's TimeSplitters Recomp is a static recompilation of TimeSplitters (PS2, Free Radical Design, 2000; USA release SLUS-200.90) to native code for Windows, Linux and the original Xbox. The game's MIPS program and VU microcode were translated to C++ with PS2Recomp and run on a runtime that replaces the PS2 hardware: the Graphics Synthesizer is drawn on the GPU, the sound chip and IOP are modelled, and memory cards are folders. The README shows 1080p widescreen with a 4x render scale and FXAA, and four-player split screen. v1.0 shipped Oct 23. It sits beside phobos665's TimeSplitters 2 recomp, already on the wire.

You need: Windows or Linux PC (or a modded original Xbox), and your own dump of the TimeSplitters (USA) PS2 disc (.bin/.cue or .iso). No game data is included.

1. Download the Windows, Linux or Xbox package from the v1.0 release.
2. Point it at your own TimeSplitters (USA) disc image; it unpacks it on first start.
