ASTRAL CHAIN GOES NATIVE ON PC: SWITCH RECOMP HITS 60 FPS
Astral Chain (Switch) gets an experimental native Windows port

Puddz's Astral Chain PC is an experimental static recompilation of PlatinumGames' 2019 Switch action game: the ARM64 code is translated to C and compiled for Windows x64, and NVN graphics run on Vulkan, with no emulator or JIT. It targets 60 FPS including cutscenes, and saving works. So far it's tested through the title, menus, character creation, the highway chase and the first on-foot part of File 01. It follows other Switch recomps on the wire like Let's Go Recomp and Bayonetta 2. The owner says the code was written by AI (Claude Code and Codex) and that they directed and tested it. There's no prebuilt download: you build it from your own dump.
You need: Your own legally dumped Astral Chain and keys from your own Switch, Windows 10/11, a Vulkan 1.3 GPU and Python 3.12+. No game files are included.
How to play Astral Chain on PC
- Clone the repo and install Python 3.12 or newer.
- Run the setup with your own game dump and keys to build the port.
- Launch the build; don't share the build, game or userdata folders.
