ZELDA: TEARS OF THE KINGDOM RUNS NATIVELY ON MAC AND IPAD, NO EMULATOR
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom runs natively on Apple silicon Macs and iPads

OJZen's Zelda-Mobile runs the Switch release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (v1.4.3) natively on Apple silicon. The game's ARM64 code runs directly on the Apple CPU, the host reimplements the system services, and NVN graphics are translated to Metal. On Mac you can load a save and play with keyboard or an Xbox controller at 30/60/90 FPS targets, though new areas stutter while shaders compile. iPad (M1 or newer) plays well below 60 FPS, and the iPhone 15 Pro build only reaches the title screen so far. Nobody has validated a full playthrough. It's source only, with no prebuilt download. It joins BotW Recompiled, a Wii U Breath of the Wild recomp for iPhone that appeared Oct 17, and mush8, the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe port for Apple devices.
You need: Your own Switch copy of Tears of the Kingdom (v1.4.3) and keys dumped from your own console. An Apple silicon Mac, or an M1-or-newer iPad. The repo has no game files and no instructions for getting them.
