SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE GETS A NATIVE WINDOWS BUILD WITH 8 CONTROLLERS
WindowSmash: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a native Windows program, alpha out

SNO2207's WindowSmash is an experimental toolkit that turns your own Super Smash Bros. Ultimate dump into a native Windows x64 program. It statically recompiles the game's AArch64 code to C, adds a Direct3D 11 runtime, and relays Local Wireless for netplay. It supports up to eight controllers (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro and keyboard). v0.1.0-alpha.1 landed Oct 18 and v0.2.0-alpha.1 followed the same day, and it already has 278 stars. It's a rival to Denkishi's ssbu-recomp, which we covered on Oct 12. The repo holds only the recompiler and runtime: the game comes from your files.
You need: Your own copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate dumped from your own Switch. No game files, keys or firmware are included. It's an alpha, so expect bugs.
