jjmhalew's RampageRE is a native port of Midway's 2006 PS2 game Rampage: Total Destruction for Windows, Linux, Android, Switch and Steam Deck. It works in two halves: the original game code statically recompiled to C++ with PS2Recomp as a reference, and a growing reimplementation that replaces it with readable native code, starting with scripts and data, then the renderer and game systems. The creator says it is playable from start to end. v1.1.0 on Oct 25 unlocks 3- and 4-player options in King of the City, King of the World and Timed Run, as the GameCube and Wii versions had; v1.1.1 adds movie skipping. The same creator built WoodyRE the same way.
