Super Mario Bros. Wonder recomp runs natively on jailbroken PS4
iHaiDeeZ's SMW brings BelmanteGu's Super Mario Bros. Wonder Recomp, a static recompilation of the Switch game, to jailbroken PS4 consoles running GoldHEN. There's no emulator: the game's ARM code was translated to C++ ahead of time. It renders through RADV Vulkan with FSR 1, supports four players, and has an L3+R3 quick menu. The repo opened Oct 18 and has moved quickly, reaching v00.30 on Oct 19. It builds on the Super Mario Bros. Wonder Recomp already on the wire.
You need: Your own dump of Super Mario Bros. Wonder (Switch) and a PS4 already running GoldHEN. Safety note: jailbreaking a console can void its warranty, and you should never take it online with homebrew loaded. No game files are included.
How to play Super Mario Bros. Wonder on PC
- Download the latest package from the Releases page.
- Install it on your GoldHEN PS4 and copy over your own game dump as the README describes.
- Launch it; press L3+R3 for the quick menu.
